• The statutes that apply, how penalties are assessed per day and per violation, and how delegation to state programmes changes the requirements
• Stormwater: the one acre threshold at 40 CFR 122.26, the larger common plan trap, the Construction General Permit, the SWPPP, and inspection frequency including the post-rain trigger
• Erosion and sediment control: why erosion control wins, stabilisation deadlines, and the silt fence, inlet protection and stabilised entrance details that decide whether they work
• Concrete washout at pH 12 to 13, plus dewatering, saw slurry, curing compounds and coating cleanout
• Spills: prevention, the response order, the sheen rule at 40 CFR 110.3, reportable quantities, and the National Response Center
• Air quality: fugitive dust and where the enforceable limits actually come from, open burning, VOC limits, idling, and refrigerant recovery under Clean Air Act Section 608

• 15 videos, including three narrated explainers on erosion control, spill response and inspections
• 12 interactive exercises, including a live SPCC threshold and containment calculator
• Graded knowledge check after every lesson (4 questions, 75% to pass, unlimited retakes)
• Final assessment of 24 questions drawn at random from a 48-question bank, 80% to pass. Retakes draw a different set
• Certificate of completion with a verification number, for your training file and for contractor prequalification

Important scope note

This is awareness and supervisory-level training. It does not qualify anyone as a certified stormwater inspector where a state requires that credential, an accredited asbestos building inspector, an EPA-certified lead renovator, or a licensed pesticide applicator. Those are separate credentials.
